Pump battery backup

Power out? Pump’s on.

Most tank systems stop when the power goes, because the pump needs electricity. Ours come with a lithium battery that keeps your water pressure up through load shedding.

You won’t notice the switch.

The battery charges from your mains supply. When the grid drops, the pump switches to battery power on its own and keeps running.

The pump only draws power while a tap is open, so the battery lasts far longer than the outage itself. When the power comes back, it recharges.

A 2.4 kWh battery runs a 0.75 kW pump for roughly three hours of actual pumping. For a family of four, that covers several load-shedding slots.

Locked away and weatherproof.

The pump and battery can sit in a louvred steel cabinet or timber enclosure. It keeps them out of the rain, out of sight and harder to steal.
